Dal momento che finora non è stata effettuata alcuna ricerca approfondita sui documenti notarili ossirinchiti, questo progetto mira a esaminare per la prima volta tutti i contratti completati dai notai nella città di Ossirinco tra il V e il VII secolo da un punto di vista paleografico, bibliologico e contenutistico, al fine di: • creare una mappa affidabile degli scribi notarili ossirinchiti stabilendo le principali caratteristiche della loro calligrafia; • identificare con certezza le mani dei notai stessi rispetto a quelle dei loro scribi; • assegnare con precisione scientifica ogni sezione del testo al suo autore materiale – scriba, notaio o persino la parte contraente stessa. Tutto ciò ha come obiettivo finale comprendere quanto più possibile la prassi dei documenti notarili a Ossirinco e quindi essere in grado di confrontarla con il resto della documentazione egiziana.	As no in-depth research has yet been conducted on Oxyrhynchite notarial documents, the objective of this project is to examine all contracts completed by notaries in the city of Oxyrhynchus between the 5th and 7th centuries, from palaeographical, bibliological, and content-related perspectives: • create a reliable map of the notarial scribes of Oxyrhynchus by establishing the main features of their handwriting; • identifying the hands of the notaries themselves with respect to those of their scribes; • each section of the text will be scientifically assigned to its material author — scribe, notary or even the contracting party itself. The ultimate goal is to understand as much as possible about the practice of notarial documents in Oxyrhynchus, and to be able to compare it with the rest of the Egyptian documentation.
