Benefits of the Program
Erasmus+ offers various advantages:
– Personal and professional development: Improvement of language skills, adaptability and the ability to work in international contextsenvironments.
– Cultural experiences: The chance to live and study in a different cultural setting.
– Networking: Building connections with students and professionals from around the world.
In summary, Erasmus+ represents an extraordinary opportunity for university students to enrich their academic and personal journey through international experiences.
Study and work experiences abroad offer a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth. These experiences allow students to engage with different cultures and environments, enriching their education and fostering the development of language and intercultural skills, essential in today’s globalized world.
Benefits of an International Experience
Language Skills Acquisition
One of the main benefits of spending time abroad is the opportunity to improve one or more foreign languages. Living in a context where the language is spoken daily allows for full immersion, accelerating learning and significantly enhancing language proficiency.
Academic and Professional Contacts
Studying abroad enables students to establish valuable contacts in both academic and professional fields. These connections can be extremely useful for further studies or entering the job market. Building an international network can open doors and opportunities that might otherwise remain closed.
Personal Growth
Interaction with students and professionals from different nationalities fosters significant personal development. This experience promotes open-mindedness, tolerance and the ability to new situations. Moreover, living in a different cultural context can enrich one’s worldview and contribute to a deeper global awareness.
In summary, study and work experiences abroad offer a range of benefits that go beyond academic learning. They represent a valuable investment for the future, enriching one’s educational and professional path and promoting meaningful personal growth. Anyone who has the opportunity to embark on such experiences should embrace it with enthusiasm and openness to new challenges and discoveries.
Erasmus+ Study Mobility Duration
The minimum duration for study mobility is 2 months, and the maximum is 12 months. For each level of study (bachelor’s, master’s, PhD), each student may benefit from 12 months of mobility abroad for study/internship or 24 months in the case of single-cycle degree programs.

- Being Mandatory: The document is required for students selected for full-time study or thesis research, as well as PhD students.
- Signature Procedure: It must be signed by the student, the Erasmus tutor, and the host university.
