Educational pathway
The course is based on the LM-15 Link identifier #identifier__136231-5Master's degree (Philology, Literature and History of Antiquity) and therefore requires students to complete a total of 120 CFU/ECTS over two academic years. Each year a call for applications is published for access to the EMCC; this access takes place through a selection procedure managed at each university by the local coordinators (at Roma Tre, Prof. Pierfrancesco Porena and Prof. Roberta Fabiani), which is then finalised centrally by the College of all the coordinators of the various consortium universities. In the case of Laurea Magistrale Class LM-15 students (Philology, Literature and History of Antiquity), the requirements already set out in art. 3 of the Regulations, are supplemented by knowledge of at least two modern languages (English and the language of the host country) in addition to Italian.
In order to obtain the double degree students must spend one semester at one of the Consortium's foreign universities (freely chosen among those with which Roma Tre has already signed bilateral agreements) and obtain a minimum of 30 CFU/ECTS.
What to study

The student is required to comply with the educational obligations laid down in the LM-15 regulations, ensuring an interdisciplinary preparation, as provided for in the EMCC principles, which also respects the regulations in force at the partner university he/she has chosen. The choice of courses to be taken at the host university is made with the assistance and supervision of the local Roma Tre coordinators and those of the partner university. The Master's thesis for EMCC students is carried out under the supervision of two professors, one from their own department and one from the partner university.
