Roma Tre University and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) offer a Double Degree Programme that enables students enrolled in the Master’s Degree Programme in Cultural Strategies for Cooperation and Development (LM-81) to obtain, in addition to the Italian degree, the Spanish qualification Máster en Estudios Globales (6416).
The programme includes an international mobility period, mutual recognition of academic credits, and the completion of a single Master’s thesis jointly supervised by an academic advisor from the home university and a co-supervisor from the partner institution.
Eligibility Requirements
Roma Tre Students
Students enrolled in the LM-81 programme may apply if they:
- are enrolled in the Master’s Degree Programme in Cultural Strategies for Cooperation and Development (LM-81);
- have selected the curriculum Global Studies and Development Policies;
- demonstrate proficiency in Spanish at B2 level;
- meet all requirements specified in the admission call.
URJC Students
Students enrolled in the Máster en Estudios Globales (6416) may apply if they:
- are enrolled in the Master’s Degree Programme Máster en Estudios Globales (6416);
- have chosen the international double degree pathway;
- demonstrate proficiency in Italian at B2 level;
- hold a Bachelor’s degree corresponding to 240 ECTS credits, as specified in the admission call.
A maximum of six students from each university may be selected each academic year.
Programme Structure
The Double Degree Programme includes:
- one semester of study abroad at the partner university;
- the completion of at least 30 ECTS credits, fully recognized within the student’s study plan;
- coursework taught in Italian and English at Roma Tre University and in Spanish at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos;
- the preparation of a single final thesis, supervised by an academic advisor from the home institution and a co-supervisor from the partner university.
