bjective of the course, based on already acquired knowledge of the general panorama of contemporary Italian literature, is the deepening of methodological and critical competences that allow to start a hermeneutical practice on some basic texts, in prose and in verse.

The aim of the course is to explore, by an interdisciplinary perspective, the relationship between Italian novel and the European literature in the twentieth century by the analysis of some cases, and also by analyzing the intellectual function of authors in contemporary age. Attending students have to study two critical essay of their choice and two authors to be analyzed.
Students who do not attend have to read three critical essays in addition to two authors to be analyzed of their choice.
Erasmus students have to read a critical essay and two authors to be analyzed.
