Programma

The teaching of History of Capitalism analyzes the emergence and evolution of capitalist systems from the end of feudalism to the contemporary age, dealing with the main forms of mercantile, industrial and financial capitalism and thus providing the tools to critically interpret and understand the times and forms of the history of capitalism from its origins to the present day.
The educational objective of the course is to give students a comprehensive knowledge of the main methodologies of analysis and issues in the history of capitalism.
