The student will obtain an in-depth knowledge of the evenemnts, historical processes, political and religious thought, economic bases and social relations in Rome and its Mediterranean hegemony from the consolidation of world hegemony to the crisis during the late Empire, with a focus on historical sources, with a view to acquiring an analytical and critical capacity for the historical processes of the period III BC to VI AD.
