Programma
The course will focus on the different forms that narrative can take within Italian literature over the centuries: from Dante's terza rima to Boccaccio's prose narrative in the 14th century, from chivalric poems in ottava rima to short stories in 15-16th centuries, and on to the short story and novel in modern literature. Through a series of particularly significant cases, attention will be paid not only to the narrative mechanisms but also to the way they are translated into images - both the illustrations of the various texts and the works of art inspired by them.Testi Adottati
